Your Polished by Two manicure doesn't have to end after one wear. With gentle removal, proper cleaning and thoughtful storage, your press-ons can stay beautiful and ready for another moment.

Never Pull or Pry

Resist the urge to force your press-ons off. Gentle removal takes a little longer, but it helps protect both your natural nails and your Polished by Two set.

If a nail isn't releasing easily, soak a little longer.

What You'll Need

  • Warm Water

    Creates the base for your gentle soak.

  • Gentle Soap

    Add a small amount to your warm water.

  • Cuticle Oil

    Add oil to the soak and use it around the edges of the press-ons as needed.

  • Cuticle Stick

    Use only after the adhesive has begun releasing to gently assist removal.

Removal Steps

  • STEP 1: PREP YOUR SOAK

    Fill a small bowl with warm, soapy water and add a little oil.

  • STEP 2: SOAK

    Soak your nails for approximately 10–15 minutes to begin loosening the adhesive.en product, collection, or blog post. Add details on availability, style, or even provide a review.

  • Step 3: CHECK THE EDGES

  • Step 4: GENTLY RELEASE

    Once the adhesive has softened, carefully work around the edges with a cuticle stick. Never force the press-on away from your natural nail.

  • Step 5: SOAK AGAIN IF NEEDED

    Some nails may take longer than others. Repeat the soak rather than pulling or prying.

  • Step 6: CLEAN + CARE

    Once removed, clean your natural nails and set the press-ons aside so they can be prepared for future wear.

Give Your Natural Nails a Little Love

Wash and dry your hands after removal, then moisturize your nails and surrounding cuticles with cuticle oil.

Prepare Your Set for Its Next Moment

Once your press-ons are completely dry, inspect the underside of each nail for leftover adhesive.

For nail glue:
Gently file away remaining dried glue from the underside of the press-on. Work slowly and remove only the leftover adhesive—you don't need to aggressively file the press-on itself.

For adhesive tabs:
Gently roll or lift away any remaining adhesive from the underside of the nail.

Clean carefully. Preserve the nail. Wear it again.
